The Grade 2, $415,000 Coolmore Fountain of Youth Stakes Saturday at Gulfstream Park drew eight 3-year-olds vying for qualifying points for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve on a 50-25-15-10-5 basis to the top five finishers.

Six horses have entered Saturday’s $300,000, Grade 2 DK Horse San Felipe Stakes at Santa Anita Park, but bettors figure to view the 1 1/16-mile race, which is a qualifier for the Road to the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve, as a three-horse battle.

Saturday’s Grade 2 Coolmore Fountain of Youth Stakes at Gulfstream Park is an important stop on the Road to the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve. Eight horses have entered the 1 1/16-mile race, and at least half of them appear to have solid win credentials.
