Accede

Accede began her career with a win at first asking as a 3-year-old in a six-furlong maiden race at Gulfstream Park on March 16, 2023. She immediately was sent up against stakes company and finished third in her second lifetime outing in the Grade 2 Eight Belles Stakes at Churchill Downs on May 5. Her career's forward momentum would halt, however, when she finished out of the money in her next three races. She got back on the winning track later in her 3-year-old season when she won a 6 1/2-furlong allowance race on Keeneland on Oct. 14 in what was her final race of the year.

Accede returned to the track as a 4-year-old in 2024 and won right off the bat in a six-furlong Keeneland allowance optional claiming race off a six-month layoff on April 24. She was right back in against stakes company in her next start and this time was victorious when she won the first stakes race of her career in the Grade 2 $200,000 Bed O' Roses Stakes going seven furlongs at Belmont at the Big A on June 15. Sent off as the 4.10-1 second choice on the tote board in a field of 10 fillies and mares In the Bed O' Roses, Accede battled back and forth for the lead throughout and prevailed by a neck.

Accede is trained by Chad Brown for Juddmonte. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Into Mischief out of the mare Jibboom by Mizzen Mast.
