After running fourth, beaten by three-quarters of a length, in the Grade 3 River City Handicap to close his 4-year-old season and second by three-quarters of a length in the Grade 3 John B. Connally Turf Cup Stakes in his 5-year-old bow, Bemma’s Boy earned a breakthrough stakes win in the Grade 2 Kitten’s Joy Pan American Stakes March 28 at Gulfstream Park. The Into Mischief gelding rallied powerfully to reel in Grade 1 winner Zulu Alpha in the final strides for a thrilling Pan American victory.
