Canoodling won her first stakes race on Aug. 15, 2021, when she won the Albuquerque Distaff Handicap at the Downs at Albuquerque by 3 1/4 lengths. She rated towards the back of the pack early, but made a three-wide move to the front on the turn and drew off to win going away.
A few months later, Canoodling added another stakes win to her credentials when she took the Zia Park Distaff Stakes at Zia Park by 5 3/4 lengths on Nov. 23.

A few months later, Canoodling added another stakes win to her credentials when she took the Zia Park Distaff Stakes at Zia Park by 5 3/4 lengths on Nov. 23.
Canoodling earned her first graded stakes win on Jan. 29, 2022 at Santa Anita Park. She won the Grade 3 Megahertz Stakes at Santa Anita Park in a 22.70-1 upset, leading every step of the way. Jockey Roimes Chirinos won his first graded stakes event in this race.
After an unplaced finish in the Grade 2 Buena Vista Stakes, Canoodling picked up her second graded stakes win May 1 in the Grade 3 Wilshire Stakes at Santa Anita, setting the pace and keeping all foes at bay in a 1 ¾-length score.
