The Freud colt pressed the pace and pulled away to win by 4 1/2 lengths Sept. 2, 2021, at the Spa to make a sparkling first impression.
Trainer Danny Gargan tried turf again for his second start when he targeted the Nownownow Stakes Sept. 26 at Monmouth Park, and Dakota Gold again delivered a dominant performance, rallying from sixth to win the one-mile race by 2 1/2 lengths.
