Dr B earned her first career stakes win in the Grade 3 $200,000 Go For Wand Handicap at Aqueduct on Dec. 3, 2022. Sent off as the 3-1 second choice on the tote board in a field of 10 fillies and mares, Dr B took the lead from the start on a sloppy track and went wire-to-wire to win by 4 1/4 lengths. Dr B completed the mile distance in a winning time of 1:35.18 and paid $8.10 to win under jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. The win was an historic one for Ortiz. It was his 77th victory of 2022, breaking the all-time record for graded stakes wins in a calendar year.

Dr B's maiden win came as a 2-year-old in 2020 and she added two more wins during her 3-year-old season in 2021. During her 4-year-old season in 2022, she won twice at Parx and continued to improve throughout the season. She recorded a stakes placing in a $100,000 stakes at Parx on Oct. 3, and then got another stakes second-place finish at Aqueduct on Oct. 29 in the $100,000 Pumpkin Pie Stakes in the two outings prior to her win in the Go For Wand.
During her 5-year-old season in 2023, Dr B was unsuccessful in several stakes attempts including a fifth-place finish in the Grade 1 Ballerina Handicap at Saratoga, a second-place finish in the Grade 2 Honorable Miss Handicap at Saratoga, and a fourth-place finish in the Grade 2 Bed O Roses Stakes at Belmont Park.
Dr B broke through with a win late in the year with a repeat victory in the Grade 3 $200,000 Go For Wand Stakes on Dec. 2 at Aqueduct. Her second consecutive Go For Wand victory was very similar to the first. Dr B went wire-to-wire once again and won the Go For Wand by 3 3/4 lengths over a muddy and sealed racetrack.
Dr B is trained by Robert Reid Jr. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Liam's Map out of the mare Boleyn by Proud Citizen.
