Easy Time, a Not This Time colt, broke his maiden in his career debut Oct. 25, 2020, at Woodbine, taking a seven-furlong race on the Tapeta Footings surface by 2 ¾ lengths. He then shipped to Gulfstream Park for the winter and finished eighth in a stakes race on dirt and second by a neck in an allowance optional claiming race on turf before returning to Woodbine and resurfacing in the Grade 3 Marine Stakes back on the all-weather main track.

Owned by Breeze Easy and trained by Mark Casse, Easy Time is out of the unraced Cape Town mare Running Creek and is a half-brother to stakes winner Softly Lit and stakes-placed Venice Queen. He is from the family of graded stakes winners Palliser Bay, He Loves Me, and Mr. Dumas.
