Il Malocchio is the winner of the Grade 3, $150,000 Maple Leaf Stakes going 1 1/4 miles on Nov. 12, 2022, on the synthetic surface at Woodbine. Il Malocchio stalked the pace and closed in the stretch to beat the field of fillies and mares by a length in a time of 2:02.55 as the 9-1 fifth choice on the tote board in a field of 11. Prior to the Maple Leaf, Il Malocchio had won 2 of her first 18 career starts including the $250,000 Bison City Stakes on Woodbine's synthetic surface on Aug. 28, 2021.
