After winning all three of her starts in her native Brazil, including a Group 1 race in June 2019, Jolie Olimpica was purchased privately by Fox Hill Farms and transferred to the barn of Hall of Famer Richard Mandella.
The chestnut Drosselmeyer filly made her stateside bow in the Grade 3 Las Cienegas Stakes, stalked the early pace, and edged away late to a comfortable win while setting a course record of 1:01 for 5 1/2 furlongs. She set the pace and faded late in a runner-up finish in the Grade 2 Buena Vista while stretching out to one mile in her second start in the U.S.

Returning to a sprint for the Grade 2 Monrovia Stakes May 25, 2020, Jolie Olimpica got back on track with a half-length score over Oleksandra.
After going more than a year without a win, Jolie Olimpica earned another graded stakes victory in the Grade 2 Nassau Stakes at Woodbine on July 24, 2021. She held off the late challenge of Abscond to prevail as the favorite under Luis Contreras.
Out of Group 1-placed Jolie Celina, by Trempolino, Jolie Olimpica is a half-sister (same dam, different sire) to multiple group stakes winner Domenica.
