Key Biscayne, a Florida-bred daughter of Brethren, scored a 36.10-1 upset in the Grade 3 Robert G. Dick Memorial Stakes July 9, 2022, on turf at Delaware Park to pick up her first graded stakes win in her 24th career start.
The 5-year-old mare broke her maiden in her sixth career start back in May 2020 on dirt at Gulfstream Park and showed some ability on turf that year, finishing third in the Saratoga Oaks Invitational Stakes. Her first stakes win, however, came on dirt in a listed stakes at Gulfstream Park in July 2021.
