La Crete made her debut at Churchill Downs on Nov. 20, 2021. Sent off as the 8-5 favorite, she cruised to the early lead and easily won by 2 1/4 lengths.
Off that victory, La Crete made her stakes debut in the Silverbulletday Stakes at Fair Grounds on Jan. 22, 2022. She set the early pace once again, and held off a determined challenge from Fannie and Freddie in the stretch to win by a length. For her victory, she earned ten points on the road to the Longines Kentucky Oaks.
