Noted

Noted was second in a five-furlong turf sprint stakes in his career debut June 22, 2023, at Belmont Park, but the Cairo Prince colt reached the winner’s circle a month later at Saratoga Race Course when he pressed the pace and won a 1 1/16-mile maiden race by a half-length on July 22.

He then won the Sapling Stakes on the main track at Monmouth Park going a mile on the dirt in August, but returned to turf for the $350,000 Castle & Key Bourbon Stakes Oct. 8 at Keeneland, a “Win and You’re In” Challenge Series race for the Prevagen Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf. Noted closed from seventh in deep stretch to take the lead but was caught in the closing strides by Can Group and settled for second by a nose.

Noted was produced by the winning Proud Citizen mare Sea View Millie, a fullsister (same dam, same sire) to multiple graded stakes winner and sire Mark Valeski.
