Repo Rocks

Repo Rocks was winless in six starts as a 2-year-old in 2020 and needed 11 races to earn the first win of his career, finally breaking through with a victory June 25, 2021, at Belmont Park. The Tapiture gelding closed out his 3-year-old season with back-to-back wins at Aqueduct followed by a runner-up finish in the Blitzen Stakes at Parx Racing.

Repo Rocks finished second in the Grade 3 Toboggan Stakes in his 4-year-old bow and then ran third in the Grade 3 Tom Fool Stakes, both at Aqueduct. He raced primarily in stakes competition during his 4-year-old campaign, mixing in an allowance win in April, but at the end of the year he started to put it all together. He won the Let’s Give Them Thanks Stakes at Parx Racing by a neck in November 2022 and then opened up his 2023 season with a three-quarter-length score in the Blitzen Stakes. He next dominated the Grade 3 Toboggan Stakes by 8 ½ lengths Jan. 28 at Aqueduct for his first graded stakes win.

Repo Rocks followed with a 3 ¼-length victory in the Stymie Stakes at Aquedcut Feb. 25 before running second as the 4-5 favorite to Doppelganger in the Grade 1 Carter Handicap Presented by NYRA Bets. He bounced back smartly in his next start with a dominant win over highly regarded Zandon in the Grade 3 Westchester Stakes, completing the mile in 1:34.96 under Ruben Silvera after stalking the pace from second in the early stages.
