Tapit's Conquest began his career with a runner-up finish in a 2-year maiden race at Saratoga on Sept. 3, 2022, and broke his maiden in his following start on Oct. 1, which came in a 1 1/16-mile race at Churchill Downs.
Following a second-place finish in an allowance optional claiming race at Fair Grounds on Jan. 21, 2023 in his 3-year-old seasonal debut, Tapit's Conquest made his next start in the Grade 2 $400,000 Risen Star Stakes at Fair Grounds on Feb. 18. He was sent off as the 5-1 third choice on the tote board in a field of 14 horses, and finished fourth.
