Toupie won her career debut as a 2-year-old in a maiden race at Laurel on July 1, 2023, and added a stakes win later that season in the Stewart Manor Stakes at Aqueduct on Nov. 4. Toupie also won twice during her 3-year-old season in 2024, with both wins coming in stakes races. She won the Stormy Blues Stakes at Laurel on June 16 and later won the Unzip Me Stakes presented by Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance on California Crown Day, Sept. 28 at Santa Anita.

Toupie became a graded stakes winner for the first time in her career in her first start as a 5-year-old in the Grade 3 $100,000 Las Cienegas Stakes in a 6 1/2-furlong downhill turf sprint at Santa Anita on Jan. 19, 2025, when she topped a field of eight fillies and mares by 2 1/4 lengths.
Toupie is trained by Graham Motion. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Uncle Mo out of the mare Amertume by Tapit.
