Triple Tap debuted in a maiden special weight at Santa Anita Park on Mar. 13, 2021. He pressed the pace and drew off to an impressive 4 1/4-length victory under Flavien Prat.
After several months off, Triple Tap returned in a first-level allowance optional claiming race at Del Mar on Nov. 5, on the undercard of "Future Stars Friday" day at the Breeders' Cup World Championships. He made a strong five-wide move and rolled in the stretch to win by 2 1/4 lengths.
