A bay filly by Vekoma, Vixen was purchased for $200,000 at the 2024 OBS Spring sale of 2-year-olds in training by D. J. Stable and Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and sent to trainer Mark Casse.
Vixen rolled to a 4 ¾-length romp in her second career start Aug. 19, 2024, going a mile on the grass at Ellis Park. Vixen next finished second by a neck in the $500,000 Johnnie Walker Natalma Stakes in September at Woodbine before a sixth-place finish in the $1 million John Deere Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Vixen reeled off back-to-back victories at Gulftsream Park to begin her 3-year-old campaign in 2025. First she took the $150,000 Sweetest Chant Stakes going 1 1/16 miles on the turf on Feb. 1 and then she won the Grade 3 $200,000 Herecomesthebride Stakes going one mile on the turf on March 1.
Vixen was produced by the winning Noble Mission mare Top Mission and hails from the family of 2002 Japan Cup Dirt winner Eagle Café, Grade 1 winner Centre Court, and graded stakes winners Let, Navratilova, and Ravel.
