This upcoming weekend marks the two-week countdown to the 41st Breeders’ Cup World Championships, held Nov. 1-2 at Del Mar. The fields for the 14 Breeders’ Cup races are coming into focus, with pre-entries scheduled to be released on Oct. 23.

As the Breeders’ Cup World Championships approach on Nov. 1-2, the excitement isn’t just about the horses — it’s about making a stylish statement. This season, equestrian fashion is experiencing a resurgence, particularly with the viral “horse girl fall” aesthetic taking over designer runways.

“This has been a life-changing experience for my daughter and has shaped her in more ways beyond just in the saddle,” said Sara Anderson.

Anderson and her 11-year-old daughter, Anna Huard, were searching for a horse that could become a long-term equine partner and compete in the 2018 Retired Racehorse Project's Thoroughbred Makeover.
