Horse racing coverage on TV, streaming services, and radio expands to an international setting this week, as the main focus of fans and horseplayers in several countries will be directed at the prestigious Royal Ascot meet in England.

In racing, humans and horses are partners that collaborate to create memorable moments and great performances on the racetrack and off. The men and women behind these athletes, from grooms and hot walkers to reporters and officials, are a microcosm of the world, reflecting the diverse populations within our own country and beyond.

A memorable Triple Crown season is in the books with Arcangelo’s win in last Saturday’s Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets, and the horse racing calendar will soon shift to Breeders’ Cup prep season, with four “Win and You’re In” Challenge Series races lined up next week during the prestigious Royal Ascot meet

This past month Dom and I have been focusing on recuperation, weight gain, and building muscle and endurance.

After going to the Minnesota Horse Expo in April, Dom was exhausted! Being in a new place with all of the new sights and sounds, and meeting all of the people took a lot out of him. So, after we returned home, we sprinkled in some light work, but mostly Dom had the week off to recuperate and get his energy back.

After a few days of oppressive haze and high air quality alerts in the Northeast, the winds changed late in the week and cleared the atmosphere for a sensational Saturday of racing at Belmont Park, highlighted by the 155th Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets.
