When Cody Dorman was diagnosed with Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that limited his development and left him unable to walk or talk, his parents worried about the quality of life he would lead.

It’s been a long time coming and now that the moment is here, owner Lawrence Goichman couldn’t be more thrilled about participating in his first Breeders’ Cup as owner, with a homebred no less.

It’s thrilling when two horses duel down the stretch, especially in a million-dollar race! Last year, the determined Big Invasion finished second in the 16th running of the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint by a “diminishing neck” to Nobals. But that’s not the end of the story!

Little Red Feather Racing enjoyed a tremendous start when 16-1 Singletary, the second horse ever it bought, delivered a stunning upset in the 2004 Breeders’ Cup Mile.
