Gregg Sacco started helping out at his father’s barn by age 8 and took out his trainer’s license in 1989. He has won 691 races through Jan. 1, 2019, including 32 stakes wins and three graded stakes victories. Sacco's Mind Control emerged as a top 2-year-old of 2018 with a win in the Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes at Saratoga in September, and then earned 10 qualifying points for the Kentucky Derby with a win in the Jerome Stakes on New Year's Day 2019.
