Eye of a Jedi earned his first stakes win at Gulfstream Park on Jul. 20, 2019. He won the Sea of Tranquility Stakes by 3/4 of a length at 6.10-1, with jockey Jairo Rendon for owner/trainer Steve Budhoo.
On Jul. 18, 2020, Eye of a Jedi won the Sea of Tranquility for the second year in a row, by half a length after stalking the pace most of the way. This time, Hector Berrios had the winning ride. In his next two starts, Eye of a Jedi was second in the Grade 3 Harlan's Holiday Stakes and the Grade 3 Fred W. Hooper Stakes.

Eye of a Jedi broke though for his first graded stakes win in the Grade 3 Ghostzapper Stakes at Gulfstream on Mar. 27. He rated off a fast early pace and rolled by the embattled leaders in the stretch for an easy win, covering 1 1/8 miles in 1:48.83 under jockey Jaiver Castellano. That victory marked the first graded stakes win for Budhoo.
Eye of a Jedi was purchased for $1,500 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale in 2016. He's more than earned back that purchase price, with earnings of over $350,000.
