Frosted Grace

Veteran Frosted Grace has compiled a long and successful career since taking to the track for the first time in 2018 and winning his maiden race in his third career outing on Oct. 20. 2018 at Gulfstream Park West (Calder).

In his first start of the 2021 season, Frosted Grace finished second in the Grade 3 Gulfstream Park Sprint on Feb. 13. He rated three-wide off the pace, then ran on well in the stretch to finish behind heavy favorite Mischevious Alex. Next out, in the Sir Shackleton Stakes at the same track on Mar. 27, he battled on the lead and led briefly in the stretch but was chased down by Basin and finished second.

Frosted Grace returned to graded stakes company in the Grade 3 Maryland Sprint Match Series Stakes at Pimlico on May 15, and was a fast-closing third at 16-1.

Frosted Grace's breakthrough at the Graded stakes level came during his 7-year-old season when he won the Grade 3 Steve Sexton Mile Stakes at Lone Star Park on May 29, 2023.

Frosted Grace won his 2024 seasonal debut outing in an allowance race at Oaklawn Park on Jan. 13, 2024, and then showed that not only does he still have some gas left in the tank as an 8-year-old but also perhaps has never before been better when he earned the biggest win in his career on March 30 in the Grade 3 $500,000 Oaklawn Park Mile, where he rallied from mid-pack to top a field of six to win by 1 1/2 lengths.

Frosted Grace was bred in Kentucky by the sire Mark Valeski out of the mare Class by Thunder Gulch.
