Eons needed three starts to earn his first career win, taking a maiden special weight race at Keeneland in April 2019 by 2 ¼ lengths. He followed with an allowance victory at Pimlico on the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes undercard before winning the Stanton Stakes at Delaware Park on June 12 by a half-length in his stakes debut.

The chestnut Giant’s Causeway colt next made his graded stakes debut in the Grade 3 Kent Stakes, a 1 1/8-mile turf race for 3-year-olds, and outfinished Award Winner for a hard-fought victory.

Eons was unplaced in his final race as a 3-year-old in the Saratoga Derby Invitational.

Unplaced in four races as a 4-year-old in 2020, Eons showed improved form when second in an allowance race Jan. 10 at Tampa Bay Downs. He returned to stakes competition for the Grade 3 Tampa Bay Stakes Feb. 6 and finished a fast-closing second to Get Smokin.

On July 26, 2021, Eons earned another stakes victory, taking the Buckland Stakes at Colonial Downs by a head after a dramatic last-to-first rally. Almost a year later, he won another photo to prevail in the Bensalem MATCH Series Stakes at Parx on June 14, 2022. He won by a nose over heavily favored Beacon Hill in a 9.10-1 upset under Trevor McCarthy.

Eons is one of three group or graded stakes winners out of the stakes-winning Hansel mare Golden Antigua.
