He finished third in the Shared Belief Stakes on Aug. 1 two starts later but then tried turf in two graded stakes and finished fifth and fourth. The colt switched back to dirt in November at Del Mar and won a one-mile allowance optional claiming race and then scored 15.80-1 upset win by a half-length in the 1 1/16-mile Grade 2 San Antonio Stakes on Dec. 26, defeating a field that included 2020 Pegasus World Cup Invitational winner Mucho Gusto.
Kiss Today Goodbye is out of the stakes-winning Heatseeker mare Savvy Hester.
