Cilla broke her maiden at second asking at Delaware Park on Aug. 13, 2020, taking a maiden special weight by 7 1/4 lengths. She concluded her 2-year-old season with  third-place effort in the Frizette Stakes at Belmont Park on Oct. 10.

Cilla won the first stakes of her 3-year-old season on June 5, 2021. She won the Louisiana Legends Mademoiselle Stakes at Evangeline Downs by 4 1/4 lengths, drawing away in the stretch with a six-wide move. Returning to the east coast for her next start, she won the Blue Sparkler Stakes at Monmouth Park by 2 1/4 lengths on July 10. 

Stepping up to graded stakes company for her next start, the Grade 2 Prioress Stakes at Saratoga on Sept. 4, Cilla pulled off a 10.70-1 upset. She rated off the leaders, moved wide on the turn, and held on to defeat Souper Sensational for the half-length win. 

Cilla started her 4-year-old campaign with a 2 3/4-length win in the Orleans Stakes at Delta Downs in her home state of Louisiana on Jan. 7, 2022. Next out, she faced fellow Louisiana-breds in the LA Bred Premier Matron Stakes at Delta on Feb. 5. Sent off as the heavy 1-5 favorite, she sat just off the pace and won by 4 3/4 lengths, for her fifth career stakes.
