This Brazilian-bred son of Agnes Gold won his first stakes race on Sept. 8, 2021 at Kentucky Downs. He won the TVG2 Stakes by 2 1/4 lengths, rating just off the pace and kicking clear in the stretch, while being kept to task by Alex Achard.

A few weeks later, In Love earned his first graded stakes win in dramatic style. He entered the Grade 1 Keeneland Turf Mile Stakes on Oct. 9, and was sent off as a 12.80-1 outsider in the twelve-horse field. He emerged from the middle of the pack with a wide stretch rally to win by 1 3/4 lengths. That marked the first grade 1 win in the career of jockey Alex Achard. In Love guaranteed himself a spot in the Grade 1 FanDuel Breeders' Cup Mile Presented by PDJF at Del Mar on Nov. 6.
