Miss Leslie was a three-time stakes winner in 2021. The daughter of Paynter earned her first stakes win of the season in the Weber City Miss Stakes at Pimlico on Apr. 24, scoring by 1 1/2 lengths in a 9.60-1 upset. After a few defeats, including some in graded stakes company, she bounced back with consecutive victories in the Thirty Eight Go Go Stakes on Nov. 27 and the Carousel Stakes on Dec. 26. Both of those wins came against older horses.

Miss Leslie won her first stakes of 2022 on May 8, when she won the Serena's Song Stakes at Monmouth Park by 4 1/4 lengths. In her next start, she came from well off the pace to win the Obeah Stakes at Delaware Park on June 8, despite drifting out in the stretch.
Off of those two stakes wins, Miss Leslie was made the 1.90-1 favorite in the Grade 2 Delaware Handicap on July 9 at Delaware Park. She made those odds look like a gift in the 1 ¼-mile race, taking over at will in the far turn and rolling through the stretch to win by 12 lengths on a sloppy track. The 4-year-old improved her career record to an impressive 10 wins in 22 starts, with $865,650 in earnings.
Owned by BB Horses and trained by Claudio Gonzalez, Miss Leslie is out of the winning Mingun mare Zeenut.
