First Peace

First Peace won his maiden race as a 2-year-old in a one-mile turf race at Santa Anita on Oct. 29, 2022. He then raced just twice as a 3-year-old in 2023 and became a stakes winner for the first time when he scored by a length in the $100,000 John Shear Stakes going 6 1/2 furlongs on the downhill turf course at Santa Anita on April 9, 2023.

As a 4-year-old in 2024, First Peace remained proficient between 6 1/2 furlongs and one mile on the grass in southern California. He won the $100,000 Wickerr Stakes at a mile on July 21 at Del Mar, and then scored his career-best victory to date when he took the Grade 2 $750,000 California Crown Eddie D Stakes going 6 1/2 furlongs on Sept. 28 when he defeated a field of 11 by 1 1/2 lengths with a rail rally from off the pace.

First Peace is trained by Mark Glatt. He was bred in Kentucky by the sire Funtastic out of the mare Peace Opportunity by Point of Entry.
