Bio
East Avenue made a flashy career debut Aug. 24 at Ellis Park, where he led from start to finish in an eight-length runaway victory for trainer Brendan Walsh.
The Medaglia d’Oro colt next faced a massive class test in the Grade 1 Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity Oct. 5 at Keeneland and he aced the exam, setting the pace again and pulling well clear in the stretch to win by 5 1/4 lengths under Tyler Gaffalione.

East Avenue stumbled badly at the start of the $2 million FanDuel Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Presented by Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Nov. 1 at Del Mar, where he was never a factor and finished ninth of 10.
East Avenue was produced by the Ghostzapper mare Dance Music, a half-sister to 2023 Horse of the Year Cody’s Wish and multiple graded stakes winner Endorsed.
