Lael Stables is the racing operation of Pennsylvania-based breeders Roy and Gretchen Jackson. The Jacksons are best known as the owners-breeders of undefeated 2006 Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro, who died from complications resulting from laminitis that developed following injuries sitained in the Preakness Stakes.
In addition to Barbaro, Lael Stables also raced 2006 Lexington Stakes winner Showing Up, who teamed with Barbaro to make the Jacksons the first owners ever to start two undefeated runners in the Kentucky Derby. Showing Up went on to become a multiple Grade 1 winner.

In recent years, the Jacksons success has continued with multiple graded stakes winners Hawksmoor, Rainha Da Bateria, Magic Attitude, and Arrest Me Red. The couple won Grade 1 races in 2023 with Chez Pierre and She Feel Pretty.
