Presque Isle Downs

Eldorado Resorts’ Presque Isle Downs & Casino is located just south of Erie, Penn. off exit 27 on I-90. The casino opened in February 2007 and the one mile oval track opened on Sept. 2, 2007. The racing surface is the synthetic material Tapeta Footings, a mixture of sand, rubber, and fiber with a wax coating. It is the first synthetic horse racetrack longer than one mile in the Northeast.
