Corms Racing Stable

Lucas Sritsman of Corms Racing co-owns Best Fire Hearth & Patio in Albany, N.Y., with his brother Evan. Their father, Wayne, started the business in the family’s garage more than four decades ago.

Stritsman fell in love with horse racing as a child while attending the races at Saratoga, and in the early 2010s took over management of a horse ownership syndicate he had bought into, initially focusing on claiming races. He found success with trainer Danny Gargan after they claimed Divine Miss Grey at Gulfstream Park in 2017 and subsequently won six stakes races with her, including the Chilukki Stakes.

In 2018, Stritsman was part of an ownership group that claimed Tax at Keeneland Race Course. The gelding, trained by Gargan, won the Withers Stakes and Jim Dandy Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets in 2019 and ran fourth in the Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets.
