History

First run in 2012, the American St. Leger has quickly become a race with international attraction. Run at Arlington Park going 1 11/16 miles on turf, Marco Botti won two of the first four editions with The Pizza Man being the only US-based horse to win the race. The Pizza Man won the St. Leger in 2014 before winning the 2015 Arlington Million.
