all in Breeders' Cup

The Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic Nov. 7 at Keeneland Race Course is arguably the most important race in determining which Thoroughbred will be honored as Horse of the Year at the Eclipse Awards. That’s often been true in the past, but it’s even more accurate in 2020, when horse racing like all other sports has been significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite a pandemic, horsemen have supported this year's Breeders' Cup World Championships, where pre-entries are up 7% to 201 for this year's 14-race event Nov. 6-7 at Keeneland Race Course.

The 1 ¼-mile Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic is the marquee race for the upcoming World Championships Nov. 6-7 at Keeneland Race Course, and most years it lives up to its billing as one of the most important races on the global racing calendar.

The Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff has been around since the event’s 1984 inception and has cemented itself as one of the most legendary Breeders’ Cup races. Featuring thrilling finishes from some of the sport’s top stars, the Distaff is a can’t-miss race each year and the 2020 edition is just days away on Nov. 7.

While fans won’t be able to attend the Breeders’ Cup World Championships this year at Keeneland Race Course on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6-7, there will be ample opportunity for everyone to stay directly connected from home to all of the action during horse racing’s biggest week. America’s Best Racing and the Breeders’ Cup will be live streaming dozens of hours of coverage on Breeders’ Cup week.
