Breeders’ Cup is offering a limited number of General Admission tickets for the 2021 World Championships at Del Mar that will go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Noon ET/9 a.m. PT. This year’s prestigious international event returns to the iconic Southern California racing venue for the second time in its history on Nov. 5 and 6.

Trainer Neil Pessin does not need more than a couple of minutes to spot a yearling with potential – as well as one with flaws.

As the son of noted veterinarian Arnold G. Pessin, he grew up surrounded by horses. His father made an indelible mark on racing in his own state by building the Kentucky Training Center as well as Dueling Grounds, now known as Kentucky Downs.

Patiently handled by her connections and in top form Oct. 16, Shantisara drew off to a record-setting five-length victory in the $500,000 Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes Presented by Dixiana at Keeneland.

The Far Hills Race Meeting returned after a one-year hiatus and celebrated its 100th running Oct. 16 in New Jersey with an action-packed, six race card highlighted by The Mean Queen’s half-length victory over Snap Decision in the $150,000 Grand National.

The major Breeders’ Cup World Championships preps races are now in the record books and there’s a lull in top-level racing until the Nov. 5-6 Breeders’ Cup – with a few exceptions.

One of them is Sunday’s E.P. Taylor Stakes that will bring together 10 highly competitive fillies and mares at Woodbine with Grade 1 honors on the line, not to mention $600,000 in purse money.
