all in Racing

The Breeders’ Cup World Championships is the biggest event in global horse racing: if the Triple Crown is the equine equivalent of the College Football Playoff National Championship, then the Breeders’ Cup is the Super Bowl. If this is your first time tuning into the Breeders’ Cup, then we have everything you need to know below!

As Wade Phillips has spent a career coaching in the National Football League, including stints as head coach for three different teams and serving as defensive coordinator for the 2016 Super Bowl winning-Denver Broncos, he knows all about the anticipation ahead of a big sporting event.

A truly international affair became even more international this year when the Breeders’ Cup meeting attracted a record-breaking 80 international pre-entries Oct. 23, 20 more than the previous record.
