Ben Colebrook is the trainer of 2019 Kentucky Derby contender Knicks Go, who won the Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity in fall 2018 and finished second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile.
Colebrook, whose father John managed farms in central Kentucky, began working with horses while attending the University of Kentucky. He immersed himself in the industry as an assistant to trainers Fred Seitz and Christophe Clement before going out on his own. He saddled his first starter in 2012.

In 2023, his colt Raise Cain joined the Road to the Kentucky Derby after scoring an upset win in the Gotham Stakes.
