The son of Chicago-area trainer Hugh Robertson, McLean "Mac" Robertson got his own training career started at Canterbury Park in Minnesota, where he was leading trainer for several seasons in a row. The younger Robertson trains at Oaklawn Park in the winter, where he has won a pair of graded stakes with Win Willy. Robertson also won the Obeah Stakes at Monmouth Park with Bryan's Jewel in 2013. In all, Robertson has won more than 900 races and $22 million in his career to date.
