Trainer Tim Hamm built up a successful 20-plus year career racing primarily in the Midwest circuit at tracks such as Thistledown, Belterra Park, and Presque Isle Downs. He gained recognition for racing Ohio-breds that earned humerous honors from the Buckeye State's breeding program, and also developed Too Much Bling the 2000s, to which his Blazing Meadows Farm sold an interest to Stonerside Stable. Under Bob Baffert’s guidance, the talented sprinter went on to win four stakes races and earn over $500,000.

In 2020, Hamm broke through on the national stage with the filly Dayoutoftheoffice. She won the Grade 1 Frizette Stakes at Belmont Park in October to give Hamm his first top-level win.
