Althiqa earned her first stakes win at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai on Jan. 28, 2021. She won the Group 2 Cape Verdi Stakes Presented by Longines by 2 1/4 lengths.
She made her American debut in the Grade 1 Longines Just a Game Stakes at Belmont Park on June 5. It proved to be a winning one, as she stormed up the inside late and nailed stablemate Summer Romance in the last few jumps for the victory at 7.40-1. Mike Smith had the winning ride.
