Bay Storm won her maiden race in her second career outing in a race for 2-year-old fillies at Belmont Park on Oct. 25, 2020. Bay Storm did not run again after that as a juvenile but did resurface at Belmont Park as a 3-year-old and won the Cristiecat Stakes on Sept. 17, 2021. Her next win came the next year, again at Belmont Park, when she won an allowance optional claiming race on July 8, 2022. She also added another win that summer in the Incredible Revenge Stakes on Aug. 7 at Monmouth Park.

Bay Storm enjoyed her career breakout season as a 5-year-old as a turf sprinter in the summer of 2023. She first won the Kentucky Downs Preview Mint Ladies Turf Sprint Stakes at Ellis Park on Aug. 5, and then came back to win the Grade 2 $1 million AGS Ladies Turf Sprint Stakes at Kentucky Downs on Sept. 9, which she took in wire-to-wire fashion by a neck atop a seven-horse field.
Bay Storm is trained by Jonathan Thomas. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Kantharos out of the mare Stormy Regatta by Midshipman.
