After beginning his career in England, Corelli was shipped to the United States in 2020, and placed under the care of trainer Jonathan Thomas. He made his American debut at Belmont Park on June 4, 2020, with a seventh-place finish in the Tiller Stakes.
On Apr. 24, 2021, Corelli won his first stakes race, when he got up to win the Henry S. Clark Stakes at Pimlico by a nose. Under Jevian Toledo, he made a five-wide rally and surged in the last stride to win.
