Corona Bolt won his career debut in November 2022 at Churchill Downs sprinting and followed with a dominant 6 3/4 -length romp in the Sugar Bowl Stakes Dec. 26 at Fair Grounds.
Unplaced in the Grade 3 Southwest Stakes in his 3-year-old bow and first try on the Kentucky Derby trail, Corona Bolt returned to sprinting and returned to the winner’s circle with a front-running 1 ¼-length victory March 5, 2023, at Oaklawn Park in a three-quarter-mile race.
