Last Call came from seemingly out of nowhere to earn her maiden win in her third career start, not in a maiden race, but in the Grade 1 $500,000 Johnnie Walker Natalma Stakes at Woodbine on Sept. 17, 2022. She won the one-mile turf race by a length as the longest shot on the board in a field of eight horses and paid $44.30 to win. Last Call was one of four horses closing fast in the stretch, but she closed fastest of all to earn the victory.

The Natalma Stakes was a Breeders' Cup "Win and You're In" qualifying race, and with the win, Last Call earned a starting spot in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf on Nov. 4 at Keeneland.
Last Call is trained by Kevin Attard and was bred in Kentucky by English Channel out of the mare Over Served by Black Minnaloushe.
