Mind Your Biscuits

Mind Your Biscuits took five tries to win his first race but made up for lost time with his first stakes win two starts later. Based on the East Coast, the colt soon captured the Grade 2 Amsterdam Stakes at Saratoga and finished second in the Grade 3 Gallant Bob Stakes at Parx Racing near Philadelphia before shipping west for the Breeders' Cup. There at Santa Anita Park he finished third in the TwinSpires Breeders' Cup Sprint in November 2016, and he returned to the track for his next start, the Grade 1 Malibu on the track's winter meet opening day, which he won in style, running down Sharp Azteca in the stretch.

Mind Your Biscuits finished second in his 4-year-old debut, a neck behind Unified in the Gulfstream Park Sprint Championship. The colt then shipped to Dubai for the Group 1 Golden Shaheen, where he rallied from far back to win the race in dominant fashion over a muddy track.

Given a 3 1/2-month rest after the Dubai trip, Mind Your Buscuits returned in dominant fashion with a 3 1/2-length runaway win in the Grade 3 Belmont Sprint Championship Stakes that earned him a starting spot in the TwinSpires Breeders' Cup Sprint via the "Win and You're In" Challenge Series. Returning in the Grade 1 Forego Stakes at Saratoga on Aug. 26, Mind Your Biscuits came up empty when asked by Joel Rosario and finished a non-threatening sixth in the race, won by Drefong.

Shipped to Del Mar for the TwinSpires Breeders’ Cup Sprint on Nov. 4, Mind Your Biscuits rebounded somewhat by rallying wide late to finish third behind Roy H and Imperial Hint. He wrapped up his 2017 season with a runner-up effort in the Cigar Mile.

Mind Your Biscuits finished second in an allowance race at Gulfstream Park to begin his 5-year-old season before returning to Dubai and successfully defending his Golden Shaheen title, rallying to win the race by a head in breathtaking fashion. 

In his first start back following his 2018 Dubai trip, Mind Your Biscuits stretched out in distance for the Grade 1 Met Mile and ran second by a nose to Bee Jersey. He then targeted the 1 1/8-mile, Grade 1 Whitney Stakes and again ran second, this time to front-running winner Diversify. In his final prep for the Breeders' Cup, Mind Your Biscuits turned in a visually impressive performance at Churchill Downs, where he seized command on the turn of the 1 1/8-mile, Grade 3 Lukas Classic Stakes and surged clear to a dominant victory. His final career start was an unplaced effort when stretched out to 1 1/4 miles for the Breeders' Cup Classic.

Mind Your Biscuits is a New York-bred son of Posse who passed through the sales ring on three separate occasions, selling for $47,000 in January 2014 and bringing a final bid of $47,000 on two other occasions but leaving the ring unsold as the reserve was not met.
