A Mo Reay

A Mo Reay made four starts in New York during her juvenile campaign in 2021, and she scored her maiden win in the fourth and final try in a one-mile race on Dec. 3.

The second career victory for A No Reay came in the second start of her 3-year-old campaign in an allowance optional claiming race at Laurel on June 10, 2022. Later she earned her first career stakes victory on the final day of 2022 when winning the Pago Hop Stakes at Fair Grounds on Dec. 31.

A Mo Reay made her next start in the Grade 3 Bayakoa Stakes at Oaklawn Park in her 4-year-old debut on Feb. 4, 2023. Sent off as the 2-1 favorite on the tote board in a field of six horses, A Mo Reay stalked from near the rear and closed in the stretch to get up to win by a half a length on the wire. She ran the 1 1/16 miles on the dirt in a winning time of 1:45.07 and paid $6,20 to win.

A Mo Reay extended her winning streak to three and won her second straight graded stakes race with a determined rally to reel in Fun to Dream in the final strides of the Grade 1 Beholder Mile Stakes March 11 at Santa Anita Park.

A Mo Reay next finished fourth in the La Troienne Stakes presented by TwinSpires on the May 5 Longines Kentucky Oaks undercard. After a runner-up finish as the odds-on favorite in the Grade 2 Fleur de Lis Stakes July 1 at Ellis Park, A Mo Reay was unplaced in the Locust Grove Stakes at Churchill Downs, but she rebounded with an improved second-place finish in the $250,000, Grade 2 Beldame Stakes on Oct. 8, 2023, at the Belmont at the Big A meeting.

A Mo Reay is trained by Brad Cox. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Uncle Mo out of the mare Margaret Reay by Pioneerof the Nile.
