No Mo Candy, an Uncle Mo filly, nearly won her career debut at age 2 on June 27, 2024, rallying but falling short by a neck in a one mile and 70-yard maiden race on Gulfstream Park’s all-weather track. She stayed on that surface for her second start and this time won by a neck in a 1 1/16-mile route in late July.
She was next shipped to New York and transferred to turf, and No Mo Candy handled that change with style, taking a 1 3/16-mile allowance optional claiming race by three-quarters of a length Sept. 20 at the Belmont at the Big A (Aqueduct) meet.

That set her up for a stakes debut in the one-mile Grade 3 Pebbles Stakes on turf on Nov. 8 during Aqueduct’s traditional fall meet. With Hall of Fame jockey John Velazquez in the irons, the bay filly pressed the early pace, took over in the stretch, and won the race by 1 ¼ lengths over favored Oversubscribed at odds of 18.20-1.
Kentucky-bred No Mo Candy is out of the winning Blame mare Sweet, who is a full sister to Grade 1 winner Fault.
