No More Time

No More Time began his career as a 2-year-old in a 5 1/2-furlong maiden race at Gulfstream Park on Sept. 9, 2023, and won his maiden in his second career start on Oct. 22 when stretched out to one mile. His third outing was a fifth-place finish in the $150,000 Mucho Macho Man Stakes at Gulfstream on New Year's Day 2024 in a race where he was hampered by a bad start from the rail post.

No More Time made a big positive rebound on Feb. 10 when he won the Grade 3 $200,000 Sam F. Davis Stakes. Sent off as the 3.30-1 favorite in a field of 12 in the Sam F. Davis, No More Time went right to the front from the start and never gave up the lead in the 1 1/16-mile race en route to a 1 1/4-length victory.  The Sam F. Davis was a points race on the road to the Kentucky Derby, and with his win, No More Time earned 20 qualifying Derby points. 

No More Time returned for the next Tampa Bay Downs prep race on the road to the Kentucky Derby on March 9 in the Grade 3 $350,000 Tampa Bay Derby, again going 1 1/16 miles on the main track. No More Time finished second by a neck in the Tampa Bay Derby in a close four-horse blanket finish. The runner-up finish was enough to secure 25 more Kentucky Derby qualifying points for No More Time. 

No More Time is trained by Jose D'Angelo. He was bred in Iowa by the sire Not This Time out of the mare Baroness Juliette by Speightstown.
