Order of Australia (IRE)

Unplaced in his only race as a 2-year-old for Aidan O’Brien in 2019, Order of Australia came into his own in his 3-year-old campaign. After running in a pair of Group 1 races, he won back-to-back starts in Ireland. Unplaced in a Group 3 race on soft turf, he was shipped to the U.S. for the FanDuel Breeders’ Cup Mile presented by PDJF and pulled off a shocking upset at 73.20-1 odds with a powerful rally from off the pace. He won by a neck from stablemate Circus Maximus to pick up his first stakes win in a $2 million, Grade 1 race in which he needed a scratch just to draw in off the also-eligible list. Order of Australia was unplaced in the Longines Hong Kong Mile in his final start as a 3-year-old in 2020.

During his 4-year-old campaign, Order of Australia won one of six starts with two other top three finishes with the highlights of the season a Group 2 win at the Curragh in July 2021 and a runner-up finish in the Prix du Moulin de Longchamp in September. He subsequently finished last of 12 as the 6-5 favorite in the Keeneland Turf Mile Stakes in October in his final race of the year.

Order of Australia was back in training for his 5-year-old season and got off to a nice start with a third-place finish in the Group 1 queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot before winning the Group 2 Romanised Mnistrel Stakes at the Curragh for the second straight season. He later ran second again in the Prix du Moulin de Longchamp before a hard-fought, third-place finish in the $1 million Coolmore Turf Mile Stakes Oct. 8 at Keeneland.

Order of Australia is a half-brother to multiple Group 1 winner Iridessa, winner of the 2019 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf.
